Measurement Position: Neck

Operation standard: Place the measuring tape below the Adam's apple and keep the measuring tape 3cm (1.18Inches) above seventh cervical vertebra and the pit of neck. The tape should be parallel of the neck cross-section. Put one finger into the tape and make it neither loose nor tied. Finished measurement of collar should be added 2cm.(3/4”)

1) Lead the tape from the left side of the client’s neck.
2) Take the tap with
left hand
3) Fix the tape on the right side of the neck
4) Pinch the tape with right hand ,and with one finger inside the tape, neither loose nor tight

Measurement Position: Chest

1) Retain 45cm before measuring the measurement of chest
2) Lead the tape from the underside of the left arm
3) Make sure the position of back and take over the tape with left hand
4) Lead the tape around the fullest part of the chest. Put two fingers inside the tape, neither tight nor loose

Measurement: Front /Back Jacket

Measurement Position: Stomach

Operation standard: Lead the tape around the abdomen abased on the back-waist point as the datum point. Put two fingers inside the measuring tape, neither tight nor loose. ( Customer should keep normal breath rhythm when measuring. )
1) Lead the tape from chest to stomach
2) Make the back-waist point as the datum point, lead the tape around the abdomen.

Measurement Position: Stomach

Operation standard: Lead the tape around the abdomen abased on the back-waist point as the datum point. Put two fingers inside the measuring tape, neither tight nor loose. ( Customer should keep normal breath rhythm when measuring. )
1) Lead the tape from chest to stomach
2) Make the back-waist point as the datum point, lead the tape around the abdomen.

Measurement Position: Hip

Operation standard: Measure around the plumpest part of hip, with two fingers allowance.
1. Pls. stand on the right side of clients and taking the measurement in a squatting way.
2. Measure around the plumpest part of hip, with two fingers allowance.
3. The tape must be kept horizontally in both front and back part.

Measurement Position: Thigh

Measure around the plumpest part of the hip, with two fingers allowance.
1. Hold the tape and start from customer's right knee.
2. Move the tape horizontally to the plumpest parts of the right knee.
3. The tape need to be stayed horizontally.

Measurement Position: U-Rise

Operation Standard: Hold the tape and start from the top point of back waistband, and then down to cross the crotch and up to the top point of front waistband. (depending on customer’s dressing habits)
1. Move tape down to cross the crotch and up to the top point of the front waistband
2. Talking with customer and how does he feel.

Measurement: Bicep

Standard: Measure around the bicep at the plumpest part horizontally. With one finger allowance and make sure the tape is neither too tight nor too small.
1. Measure around the bicep at the plumpest part horizontally
2. The tape should be kept horizontally.

Measurement Position: Wrist

Operation standard: Place the measuring tape around the wrist, not too tight or too loose
1. Move tape down to cross the crotch and up to the top point of the front waistband

Measurement Position: Shoulder

Operation standard: Place the measuring tape from customer's left shoulder point, across the seventh cervical vertebra to customer's right shoulder point. The tape line should be a curve.
1. Place the index finger of your left hand in the direction of the seventh cervical vertebra.
2. Move your thumb and index finger along your shoulder line to the opposite direction.
3. Put the tape from the neck shoulder point to the 1/2 of shoulder bone along the shoulder line.
4. Move to the back side of the client, the intersection of the shoulders and arms is the shoulder point.
5. Fix the shoulder tags on the shoulder point. Please find the left shoulder point use the same method.
6. The index and thumb finger hold the tape; the middle, ring and little finger natural put on client's shoulders.
7. Use OE technique, place the tape from customer's left shoulder point.

Measurement Position: Sleeve Length

Operation standard: Place the measuring tape from the right shoulder point vertical to the first knuckle of the middle finger. Deduct 4cm for men' sleeve length and 3cm for women’s. You can adjust the sleeve length according to customer dressing habit.
1. Place one end of the measuring tape on the right shoulder point.
2. Deduct 1.5” for men' normal sleeve length. You can adjust the sleeve length according to customer dressing habit.

Measurement Position: Front Shoulder

Operation Standard: Measure from the right shoulder point, then along the top of collarbone to left shoulder point is the front shoulder.(can adjust if shoulder points are very inside or outside)
1. Place one end of the measuring tape on the right shoulder point.

Measurement Position: Line of Stomach

Standard process: Take the back waist point as the datum point, place the belt. Make sure the belt 100% paralleled to the ground. The belt is the coordinate line. It is important to ensure that the belt is paralleled at the front and back.
1) Pinch the belt with right thumb and forefinger Forefinger pinches the head sticker.
2) Pass the head sticker with thorn end facing outside through left elbow.
3) Left hand catches the belt which is passed through the right hand at the back waistline.
4) After receiving the belt, fix the stickers on the right side of the customer
5) Right hand pulls over the other side of the belt and put together with stickers on the left hand.
6) Place the tape on the back of the customer, make the top of the tape down to the ground and naturally vertical.

Measurement Position: Nape to Waist

Standard process: Take the back waist point as the datum point, place the belt. Make sure the belt 100% paralleled to the ground. The belt is the coordinate line. It is important to ensure that the belt is paralleled at the front and back.
1) Place the tape on the neck of customer naturally and make the tape smooth and flat.
2) The intersection of the edge of tape and the center line of back is the seventh cervical vertebra.
3) The intersection of the bottom of collar and the center line is the seventh cervical vertebra if customer wears a shirt.
4) Place the tape from the seventh cervical vertebra to the center of white line of belt vertically along the center line of back.
5) Right hand pulls over the other side of the belt and put together with stickers on the left hand.
6) Place the tape on the back of the customer, make the top of the tape down to the ground and naturally vertical.

Measurement Position: Back Length

Place the measuring tape from the seventh cervical vertebra to the white line of the belt.
1) put down the tape from the neck point and press the tape on the white line.
2) The tape is down to the crotch level vertically. The horizontal place is what we need.
3) The intersection of the bottom of collar and the center line is the seventh cervical vertebra if customer wears a shirt.
4) Place the tape from the seventh cervical vertebra to the center of white line of belt vertically along the center line of back.

Measurement Position: Back Waist Height

Standard Process: Measure from the central line of stomach vertically down to the top of the waistband.
Place the end of tape on the central line of stomach and measure to the top of the waistband.

Measurement Position: Back Waist Length

Standard Process: Place the measuring tape from the high point shoulder to the white line of the stomach belt. The cloth tape should pass the highest point of the chest.
1) Put the tape on the highest should point
2) The cloth tape should pass the highest point of the chest. End to the white line of the stomach belt.
Place the end of tape on the central line of stomach measure to the top of the waistband.

Measurement Position: Pant Length

Operation Standard: Measure from the top of the waistband to the floor and then reduce ¾” for normal length.(You could adjust the pant length a little according to customer’s personalization.)
1).Fix the tape on the top of the waistband
2)Measure from the top of the waistband to the floor and then reduce 2cm for normal length
